Looking for ways to provide for my daughter when everything is really tight.
I have tried alot, with little or no success. I am open to opinions.
1) I have went through welfare and applied for medical, food stamps and cash. I got and received the first two but the cash fell through. I did everything they asked, but they knew the stuff would be late because I have no way of sending anything.
2) I searced local newspapers for jobs and applied in person AND online to all stores and fast food. It hasnt helped at all.
3) Craigslist seemed great. Got ALOT of babysitting jobs and yet, now they dont want me or trying to say they will send me money. I think some are scams.
4) I have offered cleaning services, childcare, driving and helping out to make money, and in five months I have tried, with no response.
5)i have even went as far as to research online jobs, like paid surveys and websites like this to help out. But no matter how many I do, I havent made enough.
I am now down to this and hoping it works. I have til NEXT tuesday (Oct.13-2009), to come up with 450 for utilities or we will get kicked out. Does anyone have ANY other Ideas for me?

amberhovis hi welcome your first and it is great. you need to
get some help at once so go to your local church and tell them
that you need help in paying utilities and rent, you have a
'daughter to care for, most churches have some type of aid for
just such situations and too they maybe able to find you a job'you could do.right now the economy is horrible and the unemployment rate is skyrocketing. have you been working before'
if so can you apply for unemployment insurance as that would give you and your daughter money for rent, utilities and food, so try for unemployment insurance, and help from local churches, also go to Salvation Army also. you just cannot make much online in any legitmate thing. Also how about family, mom or dad, grandparents anyone who might help you out? Also try local libraries as they are often short on pages to shelve books.

I have tried my parents and ALL the local churches. Ive explained my situation and still no luck. I worked only once, for two days and got real sick and ended up in the hospital. I was told I may not be able to work, but I have to start going to a counslor to get the treatment and have them diagnose me with whatever I was told I have.
Believe me, I have tried everything I could think of PLUS what you have wrote and what friends have suggested. I dont know what to do.
