According to a story in the Washington Times

ACORN is about to receive a grant for $990,000. This is after they voted to cut off funding to ACORN but who needs to follow the rules. The Grant goes to ACORN in New Orleans from the Homeland Security Department for Fire Fighting????????? When the head of ACORN was asked what the grant was for all she could do was attract the Senator who asked the question.
Where is the Justice Department and an investigation - They are too busy investigating (again) the CIA to see if they were too hard on Terrorists.
Where is the IRS investigating their tax exempt status.
Where is Homeland Security - out telling local Sheriffs not to arrest Criminals
IS this the Change that most voted for??

The money has been going to the New Orleans Fire Department to fund a program that provides smoke detectors to low income families. Anytime Fire or Ambulance crews go into a home, they do a check for smoke detectors, if there aren't any working ones, one is provided without cost.
If ACORN is supposed to provide the smoke detectors, how are they supposed to learn who needs them?

And then the people without smoke detectors will be hauled off by FEMA to live perpetually in formaldihyde ridden trailers!

Yes, I think many did vote for this sort of change.. because they believe the u.s. is the great satan propaganda.
