From the UK Telegraph another similarity between Adolf Hitler and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, both had a Jewish heritage and hated Jews.

Let me get this straight. He has jewish ancestors and he HATES Israel.

Now that is real scary!
Do you realize that this man is praying for the Islamic prophecy of the 12th Iman to happen soon, the 12th Iman is supposedly who will rule the world, according to the Koran...and who will come in a time of warfare and horrible bloodshed. Couple that with New Testament prophecies of the coming time of Jacob's trouble, or better known Tribulation....and this Jew hater, Holocaust denier...who is really a Jew and not a Muslim makes me shudder! Oh my...

I guess I would ask if this was a forced conversion. (his parent's)
I have often wondered about those forced conversions. I mean, if you change your mind of your own free will about religion...is that not preferable to those who are converting you? Wouldn't conversion at the tip of a sword (even an economic one) be suspect? Just something I wonder about....cause to me, religious belief is so very personal.
And here is a thought on top of that thought....maybe his family got sick of anti semitism and decided to jump the fence. Maybe they realized that to be a Jew is very hard thing in this world. Maybe they got sick and tired of being HATED so strongly by most of the world.
I have just finished reading a book titled 'Why the Jews: The Reasons for Anti Semitism' by Dennis Prager and Joseph Telushkin. You may be surprised at their conclusions.

Hi gewcrew, the problem here is that the telegraph I'm afraid can not be considered a serious source so I'd be more inclined to look into Ahmadinejad's actual link with any Jewish ancestors from an expert on this. The whole thing is taken out of proprortion though anyway as anyone who uses radicalism to control and stir up the population is rarely a real advocate of whatever they like to use as a their common bonding factor of fear.
If he wants to have influence on Iran then it is starkly obvious he must proclaim hatred of all JEws and the end of Israel, as it is an easy way to incite the population, just as previously the population was united and also exploited by fear, into continual rants about America and Isreal. One cannot have complete control of a nation without using fear amongst the population and the use of a common enenmy, as presumably holding the power of the country in his hands is his main motivation it would make not a jot of difference as to what his background actually was as long as he can stir up things his way now.

The link is broken but i can't beleive this. It's clear he hates jewish, but what i know is that he's a muslim. It's incredible for me that he would have a jewish heritage
