Have you heard of Jay Chou, a singer from Taiwan???

Jay Chou, is a famous musician, singer, producer, actor and director from Taiwan, who has won the World Music Award four times. Jay Chow is hard to be understood even or chinese people at the very beginning, but now he's much better.
He is well-known for composing all his own songs and songs for other singers. In fact, he is the best signers that I have met and I am really addicted to his songs.
So, have you heard of Jay Chou? If you have done it, what's the feeling of you when lisen to his songs.

Of course I know Jay Chou!!! He's an idol of mine, actually. I first saw him in a music video a few years ago. The title of the MV was "In the Name of the Father." I loved it! I liked Jay Chou more when I heard him play the piano. At that moment I was like, "OMG! He's a real genius!!!" Have you watched his movie "The Secret?" I haven't yet, and if you haven't also, you could search it on YouTube and you would find an "excerpt" from the movie which features a piano battle between him and the character named Howe. It's amazing! You should see it. :-)

In the Name of the Father, this is really a popular song and I often listen to it.
I watched his movie "The secret?" about 5 months ago, which is very worth watching.

I know he's an actor and a singer, but I've never really known the songs he sing and stuff like that. But in Sg, he's quite popular and have lots of fans. I do know that because his name is sometimes mentioned on newspapers and magazines aplenty..

Actually, this is the first time that I heard of him. You said he has won an award four times? That's quite an achievement. I wonder why I've never heard of him until now? Maybe it's because he's Taiwanese and I'm from a different country. Does he have lots of English songs? If he doesn't then that could be the major reason why I didn't know him.

It's a pity that Jay Chou doesn't have any Enlish songs,but there is some remake versions of his songs. I recommend you to listen a remake version of his song "Green Flower Porcelain". I like this song very much.

Hello Getbrowser,
I know Jay Chou, he is very famous singer in Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Asia country. But I am not fancy on his songs because I don't like Mandarin songs! Can he sing English songs or Cantonese songs? I like more Hong Kong singers than Taiwan singers.
Do you know Justin, a Hong Kong singer? I like his songs and so do my sisters.
