Plus it should have some decent power like a core 2 duo 2ghz or more,a graphics engine that performs par to or more than 8600m gt,should be lighter than 2.7 kg. Any suggestions are welcome. Many of my friends are having dell laptops and they are happy with that.. Hope that helps you...

I too was looking at this one but dad now says he rather go with one that costs in the range of 35k-40k. So can u suggest one with the best bang for buck?

If that is your case , you can go for inspiron series in Dell , I am sticking with dell , because many of my friends including me are using Dell only. You can buy Dell inspiron 1545 ,(3GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 15.4" screen, Price:38,000/-) few of my friends are using that.. No problem...Hope that helps you..

if i where u i would buy a amd trurion as its the most powerful thing u can get. i have a cyber cafe i know that amd is much better than intel and also its more reliable. it heats a bit more but on the whole its very food. dont go for light wight go for more power and go for at least 14" screen. hp pavillion is what i would recomend

Really haven't even tried AMD. But I thing AMD is really the guys who shock us with innovations. They made the dual core first after all!

AMD is best,i've been using my Acer Turion X2 this is more faster and powerful than Core2. You can get this cheaper than Intel and I know its available in your place. AMD Turion X2 is available in HP,Acer,MSI,BenQ and other brand, i am not sure with Dell,fujitsu-seimens,compaq if they offer their product with this processor.
