What role do your online friend play in your life?

I have few online friends actually,only one exactly speaking.we met online when I was a fresher in college,and have kept in touch with each other all the time.I treat him as my younger brother.He would like to tell me everything that he don't want his friends know in real life after we are quite familiar with eath other,generally about the annoyance he met in his study or life,the relationship between his parents and him.I always try to help him to make him feel better. How many online friends do you have in your heart?lots or few?When you have some troubles or happy events,who will you talk to,or how will you deal with them?To write them down, share them with your friends around you or talk to your best online friend? DO YOU THINK THEY ARE IMPORTENT FOR YOU?
