amazes you that a lot of people do? I went to etsy.com and typed in fingerless gloves, got many pages of gloves by many people. My favorite were the cashmere or merino wool ones as far as sounding warm and like something I would like to buy. But the most beautiful pair were kind of Goth, red and black made by a polish crafter. I'm not Goth, but I watch NCIS and every once-n-awhile, I really like something Abby wears. The most practical seem to be the convertable ones. The ones that I first saw years ago in magazines. The regular end of mittens flips off and you have fingerless glove underneath, then you have the best of both worlds. So what kinds of crafts do you find amazing? What crafts do you like to look at online, at craft stores, craft sales, etc.? I used to find my Aunt's ability to make anything from a books with a bunch of written instructions that meant nothing to me amazing. I could look at Cast on with 7P, 7K and contin for 5 rows, try it and make nothing. But she could make sweaters, capes, afghans, anything from a book. My Mom, I found amazing, too. She could look at any magazine and make whatever she saw by looking at the magazine and making a pattern to fit my doll or me from paper bags or cardboard. So who do you find amazing as crafter(s) and why? I'm mostly a video or step-by-step picture, or go to the craft person and have that person teach me crafter. book direction crafters and people who can just look at a picture just amaze me. People like my Brother who people walk up to and just tell him what they want, he designs it and asks if that's what they want and has to keep redesigning until it meets what they're talking about, that's out of thin air, he amazes the heck out of me. You?
