Do u hate ur mother in law?

I cant say that I hate my mother-in-law but I dont like her. It was better when she lived by herself but for the past 2 years she has lived with us and it has been really hard. She thinks that when she is there(which is always) she is in charge of my kids and she can tell them what to do. I am there father and I think that she should not tell them what to do and let me tell them what they need to do. I have spoken to my wife about how I feel and of course she sides with her mother. If I tell them something to do and she tells them another thing to do they have to listen to her. I am about ready to leave my wife but I dont want to but something needs to change with my mother-in-law.

I am not really close to my mother in law, but that doesn't mean I hated her. We do have different views in life and our minds does really go on different directions most of the time. We are like north and south, so to avoid any misunderstanding, I try not to talk to her always. That is easier for me to do because I don't live with her. Good thing!
