Kindle: will this make real books extinct?

are you sold to the idea of books being digitized? if there is one gadget that i am not excited to acquire, it would be this technology. i love books, i love the smell of new pages and i love the feel of old pages in my fingertips. I think the reading experience will not be the same if you are no holding the actual book. what can you say about this? do you think this new technology can eventually replace actual books? are you okay with this technology?
