If you are asked to prepare a sweet of your choice in a special occasion or during any festival, which sweet do you prefer to make. I will make either gulab jamun which is yummy as well tas easy to prepare. Second choice is 7 cups burfi. That can be prepared even by an ugly cook who do not know anything about cooking at all. just i take 1 cup dal flour, 1 cup ghee, 1cup fresh coconut, 1 cup fresh milk and the balance 3 cups sugar. combine together and keep on stirring in the pan till it leaves the sides and pour it in a plate and cut into pieces after it cools down. very very tasty and easy

If i am asked to preapare a sweet of my choice in a special occasion or ona ny festival i cook milk payasam or sabudani payasam of normal kheer.

In my house my daughter likes 7 cup cake and my son likes coconut burfi. Hence I will prepare both. Both are easy to make and will not get spoilt. Both the children will be satisfied and sweets will remain in the house for few days for the children to eat and also for serving to sudden guests.

Hi Vathsala I love Gulab Jamun a lot.. Hope you send me when you prepare them lol.. I too love to make Gulab Jamun at first other than that I might prefer to make any kheer(payasa)..
