I read many pieces of writing are inspired by falling in love, for example Khalil GIbran. Have you ever heard about him? He wrote a lot of poems when he was in love with someone. And, how about you? Do you think falling in love is a situation that make you inspired to write a romantic poem or others?

I used to write poems when I was a lot younger and when I fell in love my writing was intensified. In the passage of time I lost the copies but once in a while, during our lighter moments we talk about the poems and we relive the memories. In many ways it keeps the flame of love burning. enjoy

Mine is reverse. I don't think about writing poems or songs or notes when I'm in love. Instead, I do so when I'm hurt. I express my pain through poems and songs. I don't really know why. Though sometimes I try to write my love when I'm in love, but it's not that effective or not too often. In fact, I haven't written any type of poem to the one I love right now. But back in the days when I was sad and full of pain, I could write at least 2 poems a day, and posted it online hehehe.. I won't tell you where it's at. It's too humiliating. Anyhow, that's it for me. I write when I'm lonely, but when I'm happy, I say it out loud to him hehehe.. Good luck!

I have to say I love to write and when I was younger I wrote a lot about love and my feelings with it all. I now write more about my future and what I want for my life and family.

Hi riani: My answer is yes, love would inspires you but not only love in a relationship way. If you love life in all it's glory you'll always find some good inspiration to write poems.
