The Lies they tell us, we tell ourselves and we tell each other.

I've heard this before, but it as true now as it ever was. "Politician" is synonymous with "Liar" in most every case. Oh I think they all start off as idealist. But power corrupts them all ultimately.

Lately I've worried that we all live too intertwined with the system.. How very easy it would be to suddenly be cut off from everything.. water, food, heat.. That's the thing about limited government, it's not allowed to grow tentacles that branch out into everything. But people keep falling for it over and over.. growing a powerful government, a daddy and a big bro, that is.

Amen and well put. Unfortunately, there is a lot of lying going on.
