We've been researching several dog foods. We changed over from Purina to Natures Balance. I didn't know before how bad dog food really was. I knew there was garbage in it, but OMG! So Natures Balance, while not the greatest of the greats isn't that bad. our Boston seemed to do well on it initially, her coat became soft and shiny, her eyes cleared up, she had fewer problems breathing and could get a better nights sleep. Her stool has never been a problem, but she does have horrible gas. But it's my understanding the gas is just a Boston trait. Over the past few months she's been reverting back to the way she was before with the Purina. I've read that you need to change their food ever so often, is that true. So we are looking for a new food now to put into the rotation, something not too pricey, under $2.00 per pound. Does anyone have any sugestions?

Yes i completely agree, and yes Boston Terrier's do fart a lot. Mine also does that a couple of times a day. They also snores when they sleep. When it comes to food, i would suggest that you get a hypoallergenic foods which consists of duck or lamb. Just remember to change their diet gradually.
