Often times, when we come up to a decision in life, we have trouble making up our minds. There are risks involved and the hardest choices are often the most worthwile making. Some weigh the pros and cons, some become analytical or logical, yet others are impulsive in nature. For me, surprisingly enough giving it time and space, clears my mind in making the right decision. Sometimes people get imapatient with me, and sometimes they view it as being indecisive, but I realized long ago that things have their way of working out if you give it enough time and space. How about you? How do you decide?

Well it depends all on the decision at hand - there are lots of ways I make my mind up. Some things as easy as heads and tails and some things I sit down and write lists of pros and cons, etc and choose that way. But then.... mostly, I choose with my gut or with my heart. You can list pros and cons all day long - you can take a chance with a quarter - but not many people get the opportunity to follow their heart. No matter what paths you take in life, there are bound to be road blocks - whether you analyze your options from every angle or not... there's always something unthinkable that finds you. Now for me, I have a MUCH easier time finding a home then I do chosing a restaraunt to eat dinner at.... maybe I'm in decisive or maybe I've run out of options? Maybe I'm tired of chosing the same things over and over again - but the more long term situations have WAY more options and never ending possibilities. I'm sure some people say I'm indecisive too.... but I know I'm not. I pretty much always know what i want, when I want it :) I guess that's kind of vague BUT I haven't had my coffee yet - and I saw you say something about the no responses so I started digging :)

I knew it! I knew that your response here has something to do with my response on your own discussion. About things being left unresolved because of zero responses. You're right in that some decisions in life, however major they are, just comes off easy. Not so much for others. It's the mastery of these 'roadblocks' that gets you further in life. And you know what the prize for responding to this discussion? A BR! Thanks shell.

Well let me tell you - I have become the ROADBLOCK MASTER!!!! hahahaha You throw it my way, I'm going to find a way to knock it down and get even further than you ever expected. And dam it - I'm PROUD that I have the ability to do that because I know its not the same for everyone. And thanks for my BR! Woo Hoo! go me! I was just tryin' to help a brutha out! haha

I'm not consistent when it comes to making decisions. Sometimes, I make decisions quickly and just trust my instincts. When it comes to buying something, I'm quite impulsive. There are times when it takes a long time for me to decide. I weigh things and think a lot. Sometimes, I even do some research. As what I've said, I'm not consistent. I guess it depends on the problem and the situation.

Me too. I would want to be impulsive too when it comes to buying. But, I've learned to hold myself back. I guess it comes from getting older and having a few responsibilities. But for other stuff, like you said, it's sometimes hard. And like you, I could also be inconsistent.
