What thing makes green in tree leave

What component makes the things green in leaves , I forgot the name ?? I studied it in my schooling.

Hi, the term i think your looking for is "Chlorophyll" which makes leaf green in color. My dear redphile, "Chloroform" is a chemical substance. its actually a solvent of plastic, and i remember this thing makes you sleepy when inhale too much. i remember in my biology lab we used this to make the frog sleep before we disected it.

Hi friend. Chlorophyl make green in leaves. It actually absorbs and reflects light in the green region of VIBGYOR. There fore it looks green.
