I am planning on enrolling back into college soon

Good luck. You're making a good decision to go back to school. Nobody can ever have too much education. I've thought about returning to college over the years but since my age is creeping up and the job market is so bad, I wouldn't be able to compete with the younger generation to secure a position. I recently quit my part time job of 8 years working with the public. Actually, I retired and am helping our daughter with her baby and am perfectly content.

Hello. That's a good idea. For better career or for higher education ! There are many colleges and universities offering degree courses online. You can do a search on the internet, and you will find a long list of the institutions. Some might also provide financial assistance. Beste wishes to you !

It isn't worth my while now to go back to college, even if I did it would mean another year or so to learn whatever it was and here in the UK if you are 35yrs old you are considered 'old' am now 53 so can't see anyone taking me on in a year's time with the economy as it is, they all want youngsters who get paid a lower wage...not the older more reliable people...LoLo

I never went to college. I went to beauty school as soon as i got out of high school & worked as a hairdresser for 47 years w/alot of 2nd jobs on the side. I think u are very wise to go back to school & get all the education u can, Study hard!

I've had to go back to college because here in the Philippines there is hardly anyone who would hire an employee who hasn't finished ANY kind of degree. Right now I'm taking Tourism because it's cheaper and lots of people appear to be hiring. You could call it the poorer man's Management Accounting.

I went back to school to take post-graduate degree. I decided to enroll myself in UP (I dunno if you know it) because it's a state university which offers courses for a minimal tuition fee. =) It's a wise decision, going back to college and getting your degree. =)
