Is there a way to revive started discussions that have no responses?

Ok I understand that in order to make the posted discussion hot again or be putted in today's topic, we must put comment to any of the responses we got. So what if there was none who responded? Like with what happened recently when mylot had a problem. Most of the posted discussions were put to no responses tab.

That's what myLot friends are for, or one of the reasons. I assume that your friends have the same interests as you do? So you could send on or two of them a PM asking them to help you out and maybe they would respond. Once it receives a response it will appear in the 'similar topics' column on the right of discussions with the same tags Others might then see it and respond too. Many of us go to the profiles of our friends and look for their discussions with no resp0onses and help them out without us even asking. It helps them and us at the same time

ya i do the same whenever i don't find any new interesting posts.i would go to the no responses ones and try to find something of my interest and most of the times i do get such a post which is not that bad enough to recieve nil comments.

There is always something we can do to revive them and many of us jump onto profiles of users who say, like you did here, that you have some waiting for responses. Maybe someone will go and find them before you even get round to sending a pm!

Asking your friends nicely to help you in your discussions might help. But it has to be done subtly as some users might be offended. Usually submitting a comment on an already started discussion would help

Hi ronaldinu! Thanks for responding! So you did revive this old discussion of mine huh! Anyway, adding comment can be done only if we have at least one respondent--- but if it is totally zero then you have no choice but to wait for someone like you who would come unexpectedly or to make some invitations from your list of friends... And yes I agree we need to do and sound in a very nice way... Thanks again ronald! I actually forgot about this post already... You are really appreciated!

hello lovelyn, As for me, there's nothing i can do about that. you can't create a discussion and then put one of your discussions that has a zero responses. i did make a discussion when mylot was having this glitches but it didn't bother me that much because i know i got better discussions to make. before i used to make a discussion as a substitute for the discussion that has zero responses, it was deleted because it violated mylot don't but it was alright since it was my old account.

i did that also LetranKnight25. Put the link of my zero response discussion-- I just imitate others that I saw doing the same during that glitch days... And yes all of them are deleted by the admin. There is nothing we can do about it just to wait for someone unexpected or to do some round on our listed friend like what mysd suggested... Thanks for responding Letran!
