what is your shopping habit?

Ok, hypothetically, you went to a store to shop. A clothing store for instance. When you look at the piece of clothes you like, would you look at the price first, and consider the quality later? Or would you look at the quality first, and try it on to feel whether you like it or not, but the price wasn't matter. Would you consider the price first, or the quality as your priority?

Hi clorissa I always look at the price first, then I look at the fabric. I then stand there and decide if that is what I want or would that look good on me or not. I then will try it on and see how that looks. If that piece of clothing passing all of my test then off to checkout we go. Cute discussion and have a great day. Keep smiling.

That is a normal process that I would do while shopping. I just hate to linger that long on a department store, or other stores to shop for something that I am not interest in. Especially with those expensive clothing, it really give me headache.

Its always price first then quality. I try to stick to a budget no matter what. The are other things I want in life then just to dress nice. I want something I can leave to my children

It is the same as mine. Price comes first, and everything else comes later. I am not excluding the fact that I might choose good quality with a little bit higher price. I might want to do it too. But not too high.

I buy vintage and secondhand clothes.the difficult part is when I love an item,I can't let go of it.I will buy it in an instant.though I love secondhand clothes,I stick to my budget.I may be buying a lot of beautiful stuff for dirt-cheap prices, but I don't want to go overboard.

I always look at the price before I buy anything.I think some brand products are over priced and will not pay a higher price just because of the name of the product. Especially now with the way the economy is we have to pinch every penny and still do not know if that will be enough.

I absolutely agree with you on that. I just couldn't pay for something that I couldn't afford, even though it is in high quality. I might not even want it, or use it. I just need something cheap for the moment.

Hello Clorissa! Interesting discussions you have here :) I would see the price first before buying clothes. Then I'd check the quality if it really worths the money. If both requirements fulfilled, then I will try it on to see whether it fits me perfectly. If the answers to all of them are yes, I would buy it without a doubt.

usually i look at the clothes first, i mean it's not like my eyes zoom into the prices first and then the clothes. but i do determine whether i will buy something according to the price.

Usually I will shop if I need something, or if I just happen to be at a store that has clothes. Usually I won't buy a whole outfit, I will just match it with something in my closet. I don't usually buy anything off of a mannequin becuase it is usually the most expensive stuff and I don't have a lot of money. I usually shop on the clearance rack because you can get some really good deal.

I don't usually shop at really expensive stores so, usually I will try it on and if it fits, than I'll probably get it. But, on the rare occasions when I do go to a more expensive store, I will look at the price before I try it on. If it is too expensive I will just walk away from it. There is one store that I shop at that is really reasonably prices, Kohl's, that I probably only half the time, pay attention to the price. Things are really often on sale there and I frequently have a coupon for a percentage off. However, I often look for items on their website so I know what I am looking for when I go to the store and, I have probably seen the price while browsing online and have probably worked out what my price will be when it is discounted with my coupon so, I guess I do pay more attention to the price than I thought. But, if I haven't done my research, I might not look at the price before I try it on because I already know that it will be reasonable.

I consider both qualifications. I buy my things who have good quality and at the same time that fits my budget. I also consider my money's worth when buying something. I always have to be smart in spending. Happy myloting.

Before going shopping outside, I often make a shopping list at first. That is to say, I make a list just want to make a budgetbefore shopping in order to save some money. So, as my priority, I would consider the price firstly and then I will regard quality as my second factor. Life is not so good and I have take some measures to save some extra money, which is necessary for me, especially in the surrounding of economics downturn.

I think when I go shopping I do a combination of the both. I first in theory like to look at the discount items, but then I rationlize in my head that a certain shirt or pants is worth the money. Most times, I end up wearing it once and wish I would have saved that money.

I would definately look at the price before considering the quality. I can admit that I am very frugal and stick to a budget. I would rather look at the price of an item before trying it on as to not get attached to it. If I was to try it on, and then look at the price I would only be disappointed when I realized it was out of my budget. Why try on clothes only to find out I can't afford them anyway?? I'd much rather save myself the time, hassle, and disappointment.
