If there is a single individual called 'Sharon Bucks' (the name is a pun on 'sharing dollars') then 'she' is buying copy for websites. Since 'she' was the first to set tasks and is still the most authoritative and reliable in doing so, one has to assume that there is a connection between Sharon Bucks and MyLot and that whatever you are paid for 'her' tasks will ultimately benefit all of us because sites like MyLot are bound to have many irons in the fire and, as a profit-sharing community, all income eventually helps to pay its members.

Well thanks for clearing things up!
I had no inkling since I never came across that pun before.
I didn't think it was a real name but then I came across a number of "Sharon Buck" on Facebook which lent it some credibility.
I am pretty sure it's the owner of Mylot or maybe a partner.

MyLot employ between 15 and 20 people, so we are told. Whether 'Sharonbucks' is one of them, I don't know. The articles requested are all on very specific subjects and use keywords which would be appropriate for niche marketing. My guess is that they are all used for niche marketing sites, whether sites run by (and making money for) MyLot or not, I can't say. Incidentally, the rate for such an article can be $10 or more in other places.

I'm amazed at the rejection of my first task - Buying Natural gas stocks. I write for the very exacting Suite101 and work for Edubook and Internet Brands, so this is a shock. The reason for rejection says that the article should be in paragraphs and have original content. I know that original means no plagiarism and I did check it with the Plagiarism Checker (I always do). In fact I wrote 8 paragraphs not just 6, and each short with subheads. That's the best way I know! So what's up?

Hi sarandipity. I don't know much about writing but I think it's because you wrote an extra 2 paragraphs that exceeds the required number of paragraphs. I think sharon bucks doesn't wanna edit the article and make it 6. There's a possibility that 6 is the exact number of paragraphs that sharon bucks needed to publish on each of her articles.
