Do you trust the ads on Facebook?

I don't. Because they show us so many unbelievable ads - you know, like the ones that say you can make squillions of dollars from Google working from the comfort of your home - I just don't trust any of them. Plus they keep showing me annoying adverts for some suspicious-looking weight-loss tea, not to mention all the ads in different languages that they assume I can understand just because I may have a friend from a country where they speak that language! So I'm very cynical about each and every one of them. Recently there was an ad that said something like this: "This woman lost 23 pounds in two weeks. Click here to find out her dieting secret". I'm guessing that her secret is to not eat. I'm sure that I'm being a little unfair. There are probably some ads on there which are genuine, and are for real products that work. For example, I'm sensing that the Papercut Ketubah - a Jewish marriage contract in the shape of a doily - is a genuine product that exists. I just can't imagine anyone ever wanting one... So what do you think? Do you ever click on these ads? Ever actually purchased something from them? Or do you find that most of them are just a pile of pants? (To use a quaint British expression, lol!)
