Do you think cloning people is good or bad?

What do you feel about cloning people? I guess you already know they're cloning sheeps (Dolly was first), hamsters, cats, dogs and all sort of other animals. People actually clone their pets so that when they die they can replace them. What are your feelings about that? Would you clone your pet? Or your mother, or boyfriend, or child?

It's just like playing God. Imagine if you are given the power to create life according to your designs. This would probably work for those who can afford it the only setback is people will no longer appreciate life as it is since a replacement is readily available.

Hi ybong007: I don't see the dilemma as people "playing god". This is a problem abou ethics. If they clon persons respecting the dignity of the human being that will be created i think there's nothing wrong with it. When a medical center make a caesarian operation they play god, because this little baby was supposed to die

I think it's one of the terrible things might happen here on earth. Having 2 mothers at a time, maybe they should think of it many times if they have to do it on people. On animals, maybe it could be taken into consideration since animals were our source of food ( aside from plants, veggies, etc.).
