Can you just 'bury the hatchet'?

I can't. I can't just drop something if it truly bothers me. I guess it takes me several months to years before I could finally get over something.
How about you?

I have trouble doing the same. It depends on what it is as to how long it will take me to get over it. There are some things that have happened a long time ago that I still hold a grudge on, then there are other things I feel better about the next day.

I guess that's just how things are. We can't just let go of something that bothers us, it's sad that there are people who couldn't just move on and let go, but hey that's just the way we are made, I guess.
I do try my best but I guess once the relationship is stained you can't really just "forget".
Indeed a grudge is something that keeps people's hearts hardened. But I hope we would think first before we do something, else we'd regret them.
Thanks for the response, have a great mylot experience ahead!

It depends on what you mean by burying the hatchet. I'm not saying that I'm perfect or that I'm never wrong but it usually takes two to have a confrontation or a problem so it takes two to resolve it. If someone comes to me wanting to "bury the hatchet" without addressing what their part was in the problem, it ain't gonna happen. I'll admit when I'm wrong...and even admit to parts I've played in things where I thought I was right but I can't agree to just sweep things under the rug as if nothing ever happened.
