Hungry people more than One Thousand Millions

For food and economic crisis this year the number of hungry people in the world reached to more than one thousand millions.Last Wednesday in the annual report of UN Food and Agriculture Organization(FAO) and the World Food Program me reveals this fact. These two organizations of UN says,this number is the highest in four decades.
This number is 100 millions more than last year. After the publication of this report the FAO Director General Jack Diuf says, food production is not liable for the increase of hungry people.The reason is high price of food products,specially in the developing countries.Apart from this decrease of income and loosing of jobs are also reasons for this situation.

This is really very sad to hear. When we were younger, elders would always tell us not to waste food during mealtime because there are a lot of people suffering at other parts of the world with nothing to eat or drink. I use to always answer that they can get my food anytime if they want it but now that I have grown up and am fully aware of what's really happening and now that I can actually witness their sufferings, it's really hard to take it. I really hope everytime i eat that I can actually share to them what i am enjoying. also, from the time i realized that what te elderly people said were actually real, i never let any food touch the table. if ever i drop something on the table, I would by all means pick them up and eat them still. that's how affected i am..
