What an expensive city: Paris

Turkey

I've just returned from a company business trip from Paris. Never saw an extremely expensive city before. A normal lunch at a normal fastfood point with a standart burger menu is 12 Euro ($18). I'm not counting other expensive goods. What is a standart burger menu in your area (a reasonable burger like whooper menu or bigmac menu)? In Turkey it is $6 or $7.

It's not always expensive in fact. It depends on the store you visit. I can order a Mc Donald pack with 5 euros in Paris. The key is knowing well and seeing well. In Paris the price can vary, even be multiplied between two stores which are just 100m far from each other.

One Whopper Jr here in the Philippines is around 2 US Dollars. I can never imagine myself buying an 18 dollar burger but I do want to go to Paris soon. Thanks you for this revelation because it made me realize that I really should save a lot a money if ever I do go there someday. lol.
