Hello myLotters. I just had my tooth extracted. I can't afford to experience devastating pain again so I went out to the dentist and have it extracted. POP! It's done. Now, the dentist showed me my tooth and asked me if I would like to keep it. I said no. What would I do with it anyway. How about you? Do you keep your tooth or your kids' after having it extracted? If so, what are your reasons for keeping it?:)

No, I even don't want to see my extracted tooth any more. It's not longer my part, so I don't find any point to keep it.

Hmmmm I understand. Some likes to keep it and some don't. But I've read this article saying that ladies have a tendency to be depress when they lose their tooth. Don't know if it's true. Thanks for sharing. :) shadow41

When i was a kid, i always keep my extracted tooth. Coz my granny said, if i wont keep it and the lizard found it and laugh on my tooth, wll not going to have a new tooth. But now, i never yet had my tooth extracted, i still got a nice set of teeth. Happy myloting.

Ahahaha. Nice to hear those kind of stories. Way back in my childhood years my aunt(acting dentist) use to keep my extracted tooth. She places it on high walls. She said that if a mouse would get it I then will have a nice set of teeth. lol. I never did have one. Maybe mice haven't seen my tooth. haha. Thanks for sharing rainmark. Happy myLotting too. shadow41

I have actually got my wisdom tooth, and another one somewhere, that i did keep....i dont know why... But, yes, we have our childrens baby teeth, we have kept, just for sentimental reasons really, maybe we will show them, when they grow older, along with their birth announcements in the paper etc....just sentimental reasons for us..
