Over His Hair...
The King may be dead, but that doesn't mean it's too late to run your fingers through his hair.
A Chicago auction house is putting a clump of what it says is Elvis Presley's hair up for auction - along with some of his clothes, sweat-stained scarves and memorabilia. The auction will be held at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers on Sunday.
Presley may have lost the hair when he got his Army-issue crewcut when he went into the service in 1958. The auction house says another collector with hair Presley lost to an Army barber has checked the hair out and it matches what he has.
The auction house says it isn't clear how much the hair will go for, but that another clump of the King's hair sold at auction in 2002 for $115,000.
Wow I have always Loved Elvis, but in my opinion this is Ludacris..
That poor people are working their butts off still to not have ends meet.. Children are hungry, but the Rich that get all the poor's money, Can Spend this much money on someone's hair... OMG Right...

Yes this sent me for a huge shock, it is very sad to me to. Like I was talking to my husband, for one how could people think so highly of the stars, like they are worth more than you and I, or Joe down the road? I hate that us that struggle, and those with nothing suffer over things like this. Thank you for writing about this too. Have a Blessed Day

Wow. I agree with you. I have always been an Elvis fan and my family buys me a lot of sensibly priced Elvis memorabelia but to think that a clump of his hair could go for that much money is just plain ridiculous. I can only hope that whatever rich person that buys it is also the type that spends a lot of his money donating often to the poor children or to research for diseases and other charities.

Yes I hope that they donate to charities too, it is very sad to me to. When I was a kid I was so Crazy Over Elvis too having just about everything Elvis. I don't think anything is wrong liking them, but for some who think they are "Above All" is Sad to me too.. Like I was talking to my husband, how could people think so highly of the stars, like they are worth more than you and I, or Joe down the road? I hate that we struggle, and those with nothing suffer over things like this. Thank you for writing about this too. Have a Blessed Day
