Puppy Fostering

I'm a college student interested in puppy fostering for an organization that trains service and/or guide dogs. What organizations are you familiar with? I have only been able to find two that are available in my state (California), Guide Dogs of America and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Suggestions? Personal experiences? Advice for a potential puppy foster...er? Thank you for your time!
