What if anything scares you in life?

I am scared that now that i have lost my dad who died just over a year ago,that i will soon lose my mother as well and that scares me as then i would have lost the only 2 people that i could rely on 100%.What scares you?

There is always an instant reaction to any unforeseen even in my life and the first thing that crops up is uncertainty another word for fear but time heals everything and with a positive attitude it heals faster. That is what I believe in and this belief wipes away negative thoughts slowly but surely.

Exactly. Time heals everything and it's important that you know that you're not alone. You're parents are still with you and i hope you have god in your life. At the same time you make part of a society were your important just because you're a human being and you have a dignity. Don't give up.

I am very fortunate to have both my parents still alive. I feel what you are feeling because that scares me too, losing them. Eventhough I am very matured in age I am still depending on them sometimes. Although I am the only one that solves my personal problems , they can still help me in some ways. It is hard to lose a parent. They are the wind beneath our wings, when they are gone there is no one will help us now to fly. But we all gonna die , it is just if it is our time. And we expect that parents are the first one to go because they are old. I don't want it to happen., if one of them go, I think i will be next because of loneliness. I will not take it. They are my strength, I don't want to wake up in the morning without seeing both of them. Even sometime we have misunderstanding and I don't want to talk with them, the truth is even if they will be angry with me of the thing I done, i still want to see them angry at me , rather not to see them alive. Actually I want to die first before them because I know i will not take it. that is the same for my brother and sister. that scares me a lot.

not being able to provide a happy life for my kids,my worst fear is if one day my kids were to say to me that they had an unhappy childhood

Loosing my kids would be number 1. I can't begin to imagine how life would be if my kids go before me. Although sometimes I don't feel like it, loosing my job would be number 2. With this recession, I fear that I wouldn't be able to provide for my family. Then I have a mild case of claustrophobia, and a little fear of heights. Other than that, I'm OK.

Hi jugsjugs: there are a lot of things that scares me: dangerous people, the highs, lonliness, the misteries, the false accusations against me, and it continues... but we have to act in a mature way. We can't be dominated by our fears
