Does Anyone here experience your baby have problem with billirubin ?

I have a new baby born, when she come out from hospital the doctor did billirubin test and the result is 12.3 so the doctor said it is ok but she need to be sunbathe in the morning for 10 minutes everyday to make the billirubin lower. Two days after leaving hospital her skin started to turned yellow and i took her to hospital again which test the billirubin and they found it is 17.3 so the doctor decided to do phototherapy with blue light. My baby got it for 2 days and the billirubin came down to 9.9 , but after 40 days she turned to be yellow again and when the doctor did billirubin test it was 21 . whew.... i am confused and she must be treated in fototherapy with blue light again. Could you please share your experience regarding this, since i need more information to make my baby healthier. Thanks :)
