I am from the Philippines where 2 powerful typhoons left a devastation and death never witnessed before in a very long time. It is a good thing that people with good hearts and intentions went on to donate their time, efforts and finances to the relief of the victims. But I think that people, especially the famous personalities- actors and actresses and politicians- should make their donations in the way that they don;t have to trumpet to the whole world what they are doing. They don't have to go on television which are broadcasted worldwide showing them packing relief goods, going out to the people with a barrage of psotographers in their midst. Jesus told us that what the right hand gives, the left hand should not know. Meaning to say, do it anonimously. Even the big networks trumpet their millions collected for the victims and all the while you come to see in the television, people crying out that they have no food for days and that they were not reached by the rescue people. Kudos to the people who did their thing to help the victims in the silent sidelines but down to the hypocrites who trumpet their every actions to the world. They even credit themselves for the donations they give out but in truth they came from anonymous people who cared about others' plight and not for their own agrandisment.
