Sounds contradictory, isn't it. Global warming is suppose to make the globe warm but according to the documentary on tv I watched as I type responses yesterday. The melting of the ice caps will fill the oceans with fresh water that will affect the ocean conveyor and will throw the balance of nature into total disarray. Severe storms and climate change will follow and temperatures way way below the freezing point will be experienced in many parts of the world.
Snows will be seen in countries that never experienced snows in the past. If this happens it will be the end of life on earth as we know it. This may happen in our life time.
What's the Philippines chances of survival if we experience snows? Catasthropic?
I think there is a very slim chance as our houses and all the structures were not designed for it. I have experienced terrible cold winters in Europe and the houses are literally covered with snows.
I wish the effects can be reversed, otherwise we just have to wait for the inevitable, the deep freeze.
Any word of wisdom on this subject?
