Why do you think ICT subject is considered as universal?

Most public and private schools already integrated ICT in the curriculum. It has become a universal theme especially in the field of education. In most schools students are introduced to subject of “Literacy in Computer” which will equip them with the basic skills of using the computer. Schools are information- and knowledge-handling institutions; therefore, ICT should be fundamental management tools on all levels of an educational system even to other institutions. The use of computer is already valuable to most aspects in life. It is considered as universal since every aspect in life and different activities of all people worldwide make use of computer application.
