This quote is from an Email sent to Obama supporters: "After months of negotiations, the health reform debate is about to move to the full Congress for the first time. With the insurance industry lobby pulling out all the stops to derail progress, we need everyone who supports reform to weigh in. So here's the plan: Set a new OFA record by getting 100,000 calls to Congress placed or committed to on a single day. On Tuesday, October 20th, OFA volunteers will gather at "Time to Deliver" call parties and neighborhood outreach events across the country. We'll get together in living rooms and public locations, and reach out to friendly voters whose voices are particularly critical in this debate. We'll talk to them about the President's plan and then we'll ask them to call on their representatives to support reform. President Obama will be joining a call party and then speaking directly to all the other events that evening via an exclusive live webcast, sharing the latest info on the fight for reform and our campaign for change." ~~~~~~~~ So, on this particular date, Senators and Congressmembers will be innundated with seminar calls from these "call parties", organized by the Obama administration. Pelosi, Reid, Obama and other Democrats have ridiculed the people who go to TEA parties, calling us everything from "astroturf" to insinuating that we are incestuous pedophiles. They say that our voices aren't legitimate because we are just responding to a few "leaders". Well, what is this? An organization under the leadership of the current presidential administration can hardly be called "grass roots". Once again, the Democrats are caught doing exactly what they ridicule others for doing. If you want to know what the DNC is doing wrong, just listent to what they accuse others of doing.

Yeah, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw videos of Obama's people being bussed in to Town Hall meetings to counter the protesters. They arrived with professionally made signs and when questioned actually said "I'm here because the Obama people contacted me". The fact is that groups have ALWAYS done this kind of thing. There's nothing wrong with it and nobody ever claimed there was anything wrong with it until now because Obama just can't handle anyone who doesn't kiss his a$$. I think it bothers him even more when he realizes that most of the Tea Party protesters and those attending town halls are NOT being bussed in or contacted by any group. They're actually genuine concerned citizens and nothing offends him more than an ordinary citizen who isn't dumb enough to believe everything he says.
