The latest laptop scam

Have you received the lastest lap top scam? I did this morning. A friend of mine sent me the letter, thinking it was good, since her brother sent it to her. It tells you that you will receive a free laptop, by sending the email out to eight more people. Of course, naturally, you will not get a laptop...it's a scam.

You are totally right, about something being free right now, with the economy the way it is.

hi shirleybillingsley any time an offer sounds too good to be true it is,belive me. A scam a minute it seems to me,just open ones email and get a flood of people wanting to give you millions and all you have to do is give them your identity and a goodly sum of money, then of course they run off,and you are out however much money you sent to the scammers. beware of any offer giving you free anything, there is a catch and it will be a nasty one.

You are certainly right about that. There is always someone, just waiting on the opportunity to scam someone. It's just terrible.

That is quite cheap for a laptop.Just eight emails and that is enough to get a laptop. The scam people should strain their brains a little more to cheat the people with some believable ideas. The very idea seems to be a fake one and I wonder whoever will fall in prey to this.

not yet but I received dozen of similar scams on my cellphone via text like telling you won this big amount and you have to call this number etc. I just ignore it in the first place I didn't join any contest so why will I won? It's your call any way if you will entertain this kind offers but you should remember that any to good to be true offers like that is more of a scam.

come across those all the time cannot see the point of this, how can they make anything out of it.Normally a scam is meant to make the perpertrator money. This is just to good to be true.It is like those things that come through the post saying you have won a prize if you ring a premium phone line and give them a code. They collect all the phone money and they sorry you have not won,no prizes at all really just one big con. Thanks for the tip off anyway.
