Hey Lko, This may sound insane to many but I don't believe in "global warming" I believe we should take care of the earth of course but I don't follow that theory. |:)

There are many thoughts about Global warming that I have, we have a problem of pollution and waste of resources. We are going to see many fluctuations in the climate meaning there will be extreme heat and extreme cold... Get ready for the cold, my heart knows the cure but I can't do a thing about it with out the appropriate help. Peace and Blessings, Sincerely, Gary

yup polution is bad here too. Used to we could come over the hill from the Utah way and plainly see the town outline now its a dust haze. And we can do alot but trying to save differnt kinds of energy. I would love to put a solar system on my house or put up a windmill!

The government has certainly put a strangle hold on our ability to do the right thing for the Earth... The big corporate power generators would not want us to generate our own energy for then they wouldn't be able to make as much as they presently do...

Thank you for the link. It certainly has given me a lot to think about and a different perspective on my previous thoughts.

The heat from the sun is not reflected back but is trapped in the earth's atmosphere due to excessive emission of CFC's and other gasses. This causes the ice caps to melt down and fill the oceans with fresh water disrupting the ocean conveyors. The natural balance in thrown into total disarray causing storms and terrible decrease in temperature way way down the freezing point. Scientists believe that it will usher in a deep freeze on the earth. A new ice age as some call it. We see this happening around us and if the effects of global warming are not reversed, then our mother earth is certainly heading to a major catastrophy. have a great day!

looks to me that even the scientist dont think we are in a global warming period but for sure some where down the line we just might have another ice age

Global warming for me happen when the ozone layer get thin and the sun rays directly penetrates the earth . Thus, causing warm and it is not good to stay outside between 10 am to 3pm where the heat of the sun is stronger as frequent sun bathing would result in skin cancer and during those times the sunrays penetrates the skin becomes sunburn. Because the sun is no longer trap by ozone layer thus the colder regions like antartic and artic are affected. When the ice is melted from the one who cover the mountain it results to melting which eventually becomes liquid water and results in overflowing becoming floods and if not properly control could damage lives and properties.

that is good thinking there. now we are seeing the ice cap to the norht of us melting some but the south cap is growing . Theh way this winter is starting here I do beleive the north cap will freeze back over and it will have to start all over again next summer!
