derogatory remarks, lite swear words, as such you can say sux but not su@k, but thats not the exact reason, sometimes they will push your remarks thru quickly other times it take's quite awhile and i dont think it has to do with the mylot population online at the time. just wondering.

They probably have a program that checks words and keystrokes. At least, I assume they do. I can't see how they could read every response posted every day. They'd have to have quite a lot of moderators to do that! I know that there is a program to delete discussions if they are reported three times. It's quite obvious that no human being reads them because some discussions are reported simply because someone has a grudge against the poster of the discussion. THAT should be changed, I think! I worked at home doing typesetting and was paid so much per thousand keystrokes. I know there are programs that count keystrokes and I think myLot may use one since they want us to write detailed discussions, comments and responses. So, where have you been? I haven't seen you around much at all. That could be because I haven't been around much but, still, I do check my emails for new discussions even if I don't respond to any. So, whatcha been doin?

good question max. I am wondering about that myself. It's either each newly posted topic is analyzed by people in the admin but that would need a great number of employees. Unless of course there is a software that reads every discussion and check each detail and compared it against data already stored in its memory. Nobody knows and your guess is as good as mine. The method was not explained anyway aside from the fact that they are monitored. have fun!

Oh, I would suspect a program that takes each individual word in a comment and compares it to a list of unacceptable words..spelled correctly, because you know we can slip them by misspelled or altered. Insofar as content, I'd suspect that that is done by the rating system and the highest rated posts, comments etc (however many that would be) are then checked by real breathing people who credit the totes..Enjoy!

hi mac1950 hatley here. I was told a long time back that our reponses and discussions and comments are all handled by very sophisticated software. I have no idea it this is true but it seemsto me with so many of us mylotters on here at all time that they would have to have a huge staff so it probably would be some sort of very good software, this is just my educated guess of course. cheers.
