I love pomegranates, and i usually just cut them open and eat them. or i run them through the juicer and drink the juice. Their was a discussion earlier where someone made a cake out of hers. I would bet they would be good for pancakes too...I just might try that later this week.

My siste informed me that you can also make pomegranite jelly out of the juice. Of course, since i have not felt well lately, i am consuming most of the juice, since it has so many vitamins and minerals.

hi shirleybillingsley hatley here. I love pomegranites but have not seen any in our stores yet. I just suck out the juice and discard the seeds but I guess some do eat the seeds.since I live in a retirement center Ihave no way to plant any thing. I wish I could find pomegranite juice in the stores that is not loaded down with sugar as I am a diabetic.

They have just now started putting the pomegranites in the stores, so now you may want to check. I just saw them yesterday, and of course they had just put them out.

I love pomegranites, they are so expensive in the shops though so I don't get to eat them very often. A friend has a pomegranite bush and I am going to try and grow my own plant from a cutting. How long does it take to fruit from planting your seeds now? Do you think a cutting would fruit next year?
