I responded to a discussion earlier about a certain task being successful. After some time I checked my mail and saw a mylot notification that the response I made got commented. The comment was "you are such a sweet heart 
". I clicked the view the comment on mylot tab included in the mail to respond to the comment. When I was viewing the discussion already I can see no comments at all just my response is there. I wouldn't think that such a harmless comment would be in violation. Did that comment really violated anything or something in the mylot guidelines?

It could be that the comment left was removed, not becuase it was a violation, but because the user has had their account terminated.
Just a suggestion and you should know from the notifier which user it was. You can check the profile if it's still there and note if there are still other posts.
I have seen responses disappearing from my discussions this week. Admins on a clean-up I guess.

Ah!
Now I can answer your query. I went to her profile and to her activity. If you do likewise you will see that all the 'comments' that were made on that discusion, not just the one on yours, have been removed. You will see why when you reach them in the activity.
MyLot ask us for quality and anything that does not fit that description is removed.

I don't know what's with mylot but I just checked suzzy3's profile and it was just fine. Her last activity or response was an hour after I posted this discussion. Sorry for the lateness of the update but we have different time zones. I hope we could continue this discussion so we could somehow identify what really happened. Thank you!

Maybe they have a program to filter comments with less than five words or something. It's feasible if you think of it that way. In all honesty, I really don't know what or how they delete or detect such posts. Maybe what thinkingoutloud posted above explains everything.

It's okay Miss Suzzy no harm done. just be yourself don't try to change anything just for mylot. It's far more better to be comfortable than not, right?

I've encountered the kind of situation you mentioned too. But mostly, when I opened my email, it says the discussion has been deleted already. Sometimes the comments I get were way awesome and I was really excited into seeing the answer, but pppft, it's gone. LOL..

Im not sure but maybe like some other social sites if the person gets removed its possible the discussion/words were removed also? maybe it wasnt just because of anything said on your discussion. i havent noticed it here but on another social site i noticed all of what one of my friends said just disappeared

It's clear now that this is not a glitch or someone was banned. It's just that mylot admins needed more content from the comments that's why they deleted the comments and not the whole discussion
