Who own a Beagle ?

I don't own a beagle but I know two people who do and they said it's a very stubborn dog, so that's one of the main reasons why I didn't choose a beagle when looking for a dog. We ended up getting a corgi and she's like the most stubborn creature ever lol so I guess it all depends from dog to dog :) by the way I too have a 3 month old puppy right now but she's a pug :)

I own a beagle and I read about the breed before getting one so I didn't have any trouble. They do TEND to be stubborn and possessive, but I had the advantage of already knowing that and worked on training him since he was a pup so he is a well adjusted , really nice puppy. Before getting any breed you should read about it, at least some basic info, then you'll have no problem with it. Not knowing how to act with a puppy can be annoying both to the owner and the dog.
