my dad and I both post here in mylot. we are worried that our accounts will get deleted. we have different paypal accounts. we use our own laptops to post and we don't even answer each others posts. the only thing is that we have the same internet connection. will this cause us any problems here in mylot. your input is much appreciated. thanks in advance.

I think if you check out the portion under preference or account tab, you can declare this portion. I think you and your dad can fill in those details. It's like making clear about how many accounts are used within the same household; that sort of thing. Hope this helps yeah..

hello, Wow, i didn't know your hubby do mylot as well. so, who's your referral?lolz. it can only be an issue if you are using one computer and one Paypal Account but you both have it separately, then there's no problem at all. most specially with regards to IP addresses. there's nothing wrong with replying to each others topics too so that you can help each other gain points in each discussion. . so, generally you don't have to worry on it too much.

If you're using the same internet connection with both computers, you're probably only using one IP address. You can go to a page like http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and it will tell you what IP address your computer is using.

No, your good to go. My husband and I have our own username, we have our own paypal's, but we post to each other's discussions. He uses the laptop, me the desktop... but mylot doesn't care. As long as we're not the same person, and use different paypal's, it doesn't matter... of course following the guidelines is a must but you and your father are fine to post here. We even have a friend who started a mylot account from our computer, he doesn't use it though.

It is ok to have more than one accounts. all that one has to make sure is to have their own account and paypal account. Kindly refer to the FAQ: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq1.aspx#6 My family wants to sign up for an account but we only have one computer. Is it ok for my family to use the same computer? * Yes, there can be more than one user that uses the same computer. Please make sure that each user has their own account, as well as their own PayPal or eGold account. Your accounts will be closely monitored due to the potential for abuse. The above statement is clear as to what one can do and cannot do. There is no mention of the IP address here. But it is clear that myLot has no objection to it so long as one do not abuse the system for gain or to cheat. also the accounts will be monitored.

no problem!! you can have many accounts in your family to give respond in mylot with one single IP means shared one. But as per terms of mylot you must have different paypal IDs to withdraw the amount. This is a quiet normal condition always by many people. So you can happily can do mylotting.

We are allowed to share our IP address/computer in mylot. Even you can refer your family members with your referral link . It is better to have individual email ids and Pay pal account ids..If you want to share the IP address or the same computer, it should be informed to mylot, through the account affiliation page.ref: http://www.mylot.com/nr/editaffiliations.aspx. Regarding the Pay pal account id, there is a slight confusion here. In the terms, we have been informed to have individual pay pal account id.(ref: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx , in the DONT's section second term) .Also the in the account affiliation page, there is a option to enter the details about the pay pal email id sharing...Better to have individual ids for you both. Please keep in mind that your activities will be monitored closely in such cases. So you can avoid responding others discussions as you are doing now....

I don't think such a situation will lead to some bad problems. As you have said above, you and your dad two laptops to post and even not answer each others discussions. That is to say, both you and your dad are not trying to practice fraud, which is allowed according to the rule of myLot. In fact, it is common to share an IP address, such as at schools. So, don't worry about it. Perhaps you should do is just to post as more as high-quality concents here and make as much as money. Happy myLotting!
