How Much Province That We Have

I know it seem like a very stupid question, but guess what, i don't really sure. This last 5 years, our government create too many province that i cannot keep up counting them. Can you tell me how much province that our country have, and you can tell us the new province that are new in this last few year. Thanks

I think it's about 33 provinces. And there are new provinces: banten, kep.riau, kep.bangka belitung, papua barat, maluku utara and gorontalo

Well thanks for your information then. It sure is getting crowded with province. Do you agree with the government creating more and more province or are you really think that the current province is good enough, there should be no more new province? Thanks for responding.
