have you caught your partner cheating?

I didn't directly catch my ex cheating as he lived quite far away from me but he kept putting off coming to see me and ended up saying he thought we needed a break. I was friends with his best mate clive who rang me 2 days later and asked if I was ok. I said everything was fine and he told me that peter (my ex) was now with a girl that clive was in love with. They had been at it for months behind my back. I took the ring he'd brought me to a jewellers and sold it before sending the clothes back to him that he'd left at my house. They all managed to go in one padded envelope because I burnt them first. Some of them were his football shirts as well lol
