it is getting cold here.

I come from China,we are now snow,Instead,I think the snow this year earlier than ever before.The weather is really cold.It seems to be careful,do not get a cold.

A few days ago it was snowing where i live. Its freezing in my room right now and i can only imagine what winters going to be like. And it is affected by global warming. Global warming is actually called global climate change. Not all places will get warmer. Massachusetts could become like Alaska is and texas could become a rain forest for all we know. We can only wait and see what happens.

We got snow the beginning of October. Now this week we supposed to be entering our Indian summer but it has not happened. It is not due to global warming. We have been starting to get colder since 1998 but those global warmers who were more interested in helping the people near the equator then helping the people who live near the Arctic and Antarctic want to say the world is getting warmer, because if the earth is getting colder, it is too their benefit. You see if our growing season decreases in Northern Europe, Canada and the United States, that is the northern part of the United States, that means that they can sell more of their produce to us. And it is to the benefit of those who live near the equator and the sub tropical countries, if we have to pay more. They can say the earth is getting warmer as it gives them an excuse to force us to slow down our increase in production, but they will go and use as much oil and gas as they want. Look at China. It is sprouting pollutants in the air with no restriction and now China is poised to be the industrial giant.

Yea, I sent my daughter out this morning to grab a pumpkin off the step so we could decorate them and that gust of cold air TOTALLY caught me off guard, I said no, no, grabbed her, came back in--got my shoes robe and winter coat on and went out an grabbed it. I was telling my girls all end of the summer how ready I was for the Fall but as far as Im concerned at this rate I don't think we've really had a fall! It just jumped out at me going out to the store and all a sudden the trees were the brightest yellow and the deepest red-BEautiful, but just happened so fast! The leaves haven't even fallen off the trees yet. No, I don't think it can totally be attributed to global warming because I remember that big ice storm we had over here in the East back in I think it was 95 (one after that i think too but a little less). I think its normal to get the real cold cycles just like the Earth tipping on its axis, its normal but it causes disruptions.

Hi clorissa. No, it has nothing to do with global warming...at least not on the east coast where you and I are. It's El Nino, which is controlling the weather patterns. It's also what directed this seaon's hurricanes and tropical storms away from Florida. It's been cold down here for the past few days, too, but it's supposed to warm up again tomorrow.

Hi Clorissa, it's October here too in Greece and still meant to be hot enough for the tourist season but we too have winter weather, torrential rain for the last few days, storms, cold. It seems to be that we are reducing seasons to summer and winter only.

We are already using the heat in the truck! I am not sure of what temperature it is outside, but it is a bit chilly outside. I am glad that it's starting to get cold though, as I love to snuggle up!
