What do you think of the new Toyota Prius?

Seems like the only real choice in the US market if you want a fuel efficient car, as small diesel cars aren't sold in the US. But, could it have been better? The mpg is not up that much compared with the old model.

I just bought a New 2009 Prius last week. Its a fun car to drive, but it takes a bit of getting used to. There is no shift, no ignition key, and 2 electric motors to help the gas burner. It starts silently, moves soundlessly, and has a Jake Brake. I've only driven it a bit over 400 Km, so I don't know how its going to be on gas. I especially like the back-up camera, and the back seats fold down for drawing freight. The H.P. is low but the electric motors back up the gas burner on the hills, so it can hold it's own well on acceleration. So far I like the Prius very much.
