DAVID Beckham ,who will join AC milan for two months on loan beginning January 7,insist his latest move will be dood both foe himself and for the club ."I wouldn't take this opportunity if I didn't think that I could help the team and help the club ,"the Los Angeles Galaxy player said that when he was introduce to AC Milan fans over the weekend.The 33-year-old says he has always freamed of playing in Italy ,although he admitd to hoping the move will make him eligible for the England team.Last week ,Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso expressed skepticism about Beckham's arrival."This Beckham thing seems very strange to me ."

I think your newspaper is a little bit out of date, Beckham's first game for Milan was on 7th January 2009: http://worldofbeckham.blogspot.com/2009/01/beckham-gets-first-game-at-milan.html In fact there is a tribute video you can watch showing his goals last season... http://worldofbeckham.blogspot.com/2009/02/ac-milan-tribute-to-beckham.html Gattuso was there in January when Beckham arrived, so he has had 9 months to get used to the idea. Of course, he has returned to The Galaxy since then and is now on the verge of lining up his second stint at AC Milan - I am not totally sure, but I believe that this renewed deal has yet to be signed and sealed...
