This is a good discussion and I am sure that a lot of people like laptops and I am sure that a lot of people have a laptop,and that different people have different opinions on which laptop is better,and when it comeous to me I am not big when it comes to technology and which laptop is better,all I know is me and my wife use to have an IBM and it was a piece of crap,and recently we bought a Dell and it works like a charm,it is awesome and we have had no problems out of it,and I would definitely recommend Dell to anyone who wants a laptop,because I personally think that Dell makes the best laptops and desktops and no one will ever be better than Dell,and I think my wife would agree with me on that ,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

i think before you buy a laptop you must do you homework and make sure that you get one that will give years of service and that can and has the spec required to do the job you are buying it for i go with acer always ,i had a laptop for a year now and so far i laptop is doing the job i brought it for AMD ASPIRE 7530 A GOOD GAMING LAPTOP 4 GIGS OF RAM ,250 GRAPHICS CARD WITH WINDOWS VISTA PREMIUM 17 INCH SCREEN

I agree it is always good to get a laptop that has the specs you need for a job,and you should always do your homework because you do not want to get something that will quit working soon,and me and my wife still have a Dell laptop and we have had it for almost a year now,and it is still in good condition.

Acer laptops are nice. But i prefer dell and Hp laptops better. The acer aspire series is really good and acer produces nice netbooks .But Hp pavilion series is very good and i plan to get a Hp pavilion dm4 soon as it is a lightweight featureful laptop coming at a good price.

Acers are the best!!! I got mine 3gb memory 250gb hdd widescreen for a bargain of £379 from £400 and seen alot more Acer Aspires coming down in price!! All great quality, sleek design and lovely sound. Runs great evan when having 3-5things running on it at once!! I have found Acer Aspires to be the best Value for their pricing and compared to the amount of memory, capacity and running of laptops, they come up tops!!
