Most of the people use AlertPay or PayPal to make online payments, for online purchases or to transfer funds. I have not used any one them so far. But want to use. So anyone can tell me that which is better Alertpay or PayPal?

I would have to say Paypal because honestly, I don't know where I can use Alertpay. I have accounts on both of them but it is only with paypal that I can buy stuff online especially on ebay. I rarely (or never!) saw any online shopping websites which accepts Alertpay. A lot of my GPT sites pay using Paypal too so I have learned to trust the site.

PayPal is more generally usable than AlertPay if you want to spend money on the Internet. They are probably about equal as far as collecting earnings: some sites use one or the other; some accept both. It's probably best to have an account with both AlertPay and PayPal, depending on what you are doing. I believe that there are sites which will transfer a balance from one to the other at a price. PayPal does have the advantage in some countries that it can supply a Debit Card (though the charges are rather high). I don't know if AlertPay has this facility. In any case, the best deal (if it's available) is to transfer your earnings to a linked and verified bank account ... either a checking account or a credit card account.

to me paypal is the best hands down. i never really liked using alertpay. come to think of it i only use it on sites that only pay through alertpay. paypal is the best to me because you can do more with your paypal account. i am able to buy things off of ebay and other online stores. i have never seen a store yet that has had alertpay as an option to make payments. overall paypal is way more popluar. alertpay just don't have all that much to offer.

the problem that paypal have is that you can only request 4 cashouts every year, while in alertpay you can request cashout everytime you want.

Never heard of that cashout limit with PayPal.
