When trying to lose weight, or just maintain a healthy lifestyle, it's important to keep active. For most of us, this is difficult to do when we have full time jobs. Do you ever try to get in some exercise at work?
If I have a few moments, sometimes I'll take five minutes or so and climb the stairwells. It helps clear my mind and burn a few calories while I get a break from the computer screen. Do you do anything like this? I'd love suggestions on new things to do!

I used to do this at work too! Run up and down a stairwell, 5 to 6 times a day. Then, I would walk around the production floor which is a good 10 minutes to complete. I would also do this several times a day. But lately, I am getting lazy. I haven't done the stairwell thing for a couple of months, and I only do the walk around the floor a couple times a day, maximum.
There is just too much work to be done. It seems work is getting in the way of my work out! LOL!

Exercise out doors as far as possible. There are two advantages of doing whatever you are doing out side. One advantage is that it gives your body a chance to get a lot of the much needed fresh air and sunshine. The second advantage is that the surroundings keep you perked up and it is a break form remaining cooped up all day lon

I worked at a community college several years ago that had a weight room and an indoor pool, among other things. I used to love working out on the equipment and then doing some laps in the pool. My boss liked walking around the track and she got me to do that with her until it got cold and then she started using the weight room, too.
