I was playing Farm Town for quite some time, and got addicted to it too. I haven't been playing for quite some time, as I was bored about it, and also the application is quite slow.
I learned some tips from my friends when I was playing it, just to share with you:
1. Hire someone to plow or harvest in your farm, so your friends will earn and you'll earn more as compared to doing it by yourself.
2. Plow or harvest for your friends.
3. Plan properly on your plants, so that they will not be gone to waste for not harvesting.
4. Ask your friends to send you trees that can earn money.
Happy farming! ^_^

Hi jankar,I am also playing farm town and i am level 32.what i did is focus in planting and harvesting. If you want to buy something for your farm, just go to the market and look for a job to earn more coins. If you want for level up find a job for plow. And also find more friends to be your neighborsGood luck!.

Yeah your right... But I have so much friends already in such a short time. Its so easy to find friends there especially that facebook have friend suggestions. Very COOL! And now, they keep inviting me with so much games like Farm Town, Mafia Wars... etc. And as I see, my friends now have really high levels. And I really really want to catch up with them. I am really challenge with it...

I'm actually hooked on Farmville but from what I've heard farmville and farm town are very similar. It takes some time to build up your farm, but it's well worth it! And things grow at their own pace, so I don't think there is any way to make things "grow faster."
Good luck to you and most importantly HAVE FUN!

From what i've heard, Farm Town is more inter-active than farmvill. and that Farm Town is an upgraded Farm Vill... is it? anyway, your right about that. Lets just have fun, but also I like being competitive in games. Proving myself that i am better than you or anybody out there. Thats just how i like things are to keep em more challenging.
Thanks Jenn

Hi Jankar! I've been playing farmtown as well and I'm level 28 already. For the newbie, you have to grow those crops that have short time to harvest so you will earn experience faster. Don't buy those accesories first. Just focus on the planting and harvesting part of it. Once you accumulated enough cash, then that is the time you can buy other things.
