it is good to work on a deadline. but i hate if deadlines are given at a very short notice. i usually feel stressed out and tight as days near the deadline. i would prefer to set deadlines on monthly basis, if that can be helped. that way, i have time to have a work plan and schedule in order to achieve things on or before deadlines.

When I was a working woman, I very much prefered to not have a tight deadline in which to get things done. For me, knowing that there was a deadline looming made me stress and often for unfounded reasons. I like to have a loose deadline to no deadline at all. I'm not a slacker and when I am working I do it as fast as I can and to the best of my ability. Therefore, the only thing that a deadline does for me is raises my bloodpressure.

Well, I personally do not like working with a tight deadline, it makes me feel stressed and my work may not be that good as compared to a more comfortable working timeline. I suppose I am quite a self-disciplined person, I will always set my goals and plan properly to achieve them. I don't think there'll be such a scenario where there's no deadline for our work, but I prefer to have reasonable timeline, as it will make us work better.

Meeting deadlines works differently depending on people's outlook. For myself, I prefer to have deadlines because I'm a slacker(not proud of it, trying to change) and if I know that I have no definite time or date to have it finished, I would delay and so and so. That's for me though, some people have better attitude towards work.
